The challenge
The original kitchen was narrow and disconnected from the living area, with awkward storage and limited lighting.
The approach
Dream Homes Remodeling opened the layout with a steel beam and bolted post, then coordinated plumbing, electrical work, full-height gray cabinetry and quartz surfaces. The finished steel remained visible as an architectural detail.
The result
A waterfall island occupies the former dividing-wall zone. The kitchen and living area connect through continuous flooring and layered lighting.
